This notice explains what personal data tapfolio.io collects, why we collect it, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Tapfolio is run by Foxedg Ventures FZE LLC, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, which is responsible for your data.
The short version
- We collect only what you send us, plus basic statistics about how the site is used.
- We use analytics cookies only if you agree to them.
- We don't sell personal data, and we don't run advertising cookies.
- We never pass your enquiry to a listed provider unless you ask us to introduce you.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to hello@foxedg.com.
What we collect and why

We rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics cookies. We rely on your request when we answer an enquiry, book a call or handle a listing. We rely on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site and keeping profiles accurate.
When you click a link to a provider's website, you leave Tapfolio, and that provider's own privacy notice applies. Some links carry tags that tell the provider the visit came from Tapfolio; these do not contain your personal data. Links marked "Affiliate link" may also let the provider's affiliate programme record the referral on its own site.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use two kinds. Essential cookies make the site work and are always on. Analytics cookies tell us how the site is used, and we set them only if you choose "I agree" on our cookie banner.

If you choose "Only essentials", Google Analytics cookies are not set. Odoo's own visitor statistics count page views without setting cookies.
We also use your browser's local storage, which works much like a cookie. It keeps a short list of the pages you've viewed, so if you start a live chat, our team can see which page you're asking about. Other entries keep live chat and similar real-time features working. Nothing in local storage is used for advertising.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. No cookie is set for this.
To change your choice later, use the button below. It clears your cookie choice and any Google Analytics cookies, then reloads the page so the banner appears again. You can also clear the cookies for tapfolio.io in your browser, or block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may stop working.
When you follow a link to a provider's website, that site may set its own cookies, including affiliate cookies that record the referral. Those are controlled by the provider, not by us.
Who else handles your data
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. A small number of service providers handle it for us:
- Odoo S.A. hosts our website and the tools behind it: forms, live chat, bookings, our customer records and the newsletter.
- Google provides Google Analytics (only if you agree to analytics cookies) and Google Fonts.
- Meta runs WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.
- Our own team, based in the UAE and India, reads enquiries and live chat messages and replies to them.
We pass your details to a listed provider only when you ask us to introduce you. We tell you who we're introducing you to before we do it.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
Some of these providers store data outside the UAE. Where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it, then delete it or make it anonymous.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that's wrong or out of date
- delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it
- stop using your data for a particular purpose, or limit how we use it
- stop sending you the newsletter (or use the unsubscribe link in any email)
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies (see Cookies and analytics above)
To make a request, email hello@foxedg.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We'll reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so we don't hand your data to someone else.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Tapfolio is a business website for people choosing software for their companies. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also say so on the site or by email to newsletter subscribers.
